The coffee shop downstairs is a great place for relaxing and having a rest, particularly on weekends. Reduced offerings, but the coffee is good and unbeatably cheap (large cup for 1 € only!).

Get a tour to actually hear the instruments! ???????? also try out the instruments in the basement (the ones which are meant to be played) very nice and usually calm place ????

Fantastic collection of musical instruments surrounded by great 60s architecture of Hans Scharoun. And don't forget to visit the cafe downstairs!

director is amazing. They couldn’t accommodate a special tour for the blind on short notice, but he was extremely apologetic and did his best. highly recommended. #blind

Very nice museum-you can see instruments and then listen to their sounds-you need audio guide for this(which is in ticket price anyway).Older kids may enjoy it.Unfortunately staff is not very friendly

Really interesting museum full of different types of musical instruments. Some of them you can ear samples. Carefull with the overzealous staff.
